Below you can read how GolfNext ApS ("we", "us", "our") processes your personal data when you use our app ("the GolfNext App") or visit our website www.golfnext.com.
1. Data controller
The legal entity responsible for the processing of your personal data is:
GolfNext ApS
CVR no. 33593082
Rugaardsvej 5
8680 Ry
Denmark
If you have any questions regarding our processing of your personal data, you can contact Peter Selmer by phone on +45 70 70 79 99 or by email at hello@golfnext.com.
2. Categories of data, purpose of processing and retention period
We may process personal data about you in a variety of situations. Below you can read about when we process your personal data, for what purposes we process them, and how long we retain them. Note that not all purposes, categories of data, recipients or types of processing apply to you in all cases.
We want to ensure that all personal data we process is correct and up to date. We therefore ask you to always inform us of any changes to the information you have provided. This way we can ensure that your personal data is correct and current.
2.1 The GolfNext App
When you create a user profile in the GolfNext App, we process a range of personal data about you, including your name (first and last name), your contact information (email address and mobile number), date of birth, country of residence, gender, golf union membership number, home club, member type, as well as your username and password for the GolfNext App.
If you choose to use your username and password from other services (e.g. GolfBox, Mingolf, Apple or Google) to create a user profile in the GolfNext App, we obtain personal data about you from the relevant service for the purposes of profile creation and login. In addition, we process information about the purchases and payments you make in the GolfNext App, including booking information (where, when, with whom and at what price you play golf), transaction history (purchase and use of points, vouchers and gift cards), transfers of vouchers to/from other users of the GolfNext App, uploaded vouchers and generated PDFs of vouchers. The processing of these personal data takes place on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation, as the processing is necessary for the creation and administration of your user account for the GolfNext App, including for handling customer service and support inquiries from you. The data may also be used for the preparation of statistics and analysis of consumption patterns for the purposes of business development. Processing for these purposes takes place on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation and our legitimate interest in being able to develop our business based on our experience.
When you use the GolfNext App, we collect location data about you. We need to know your geographical location in order to activate your digital products. It is therefore only possible to use the GolfNext App when location services on your mobile device are turned on. The processing of location data takes place on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation, as the processing of the data is necessary for you to be able to use your digital products in the GolfNext App.
The data is stored and processed for as long as your user profile in the GolfNext App is active. If you have not logged in to your user profile in the GolfNext App for a period of 24 months, and there are no active points, vouchers, etc. on the account, your user profile will automatically be deleted.
You can delete your user profile at any time, either by using the deletion function in the GolfNext App or by sending a deletion request to us at hello@golfnext.com. Please note that you will lose all your unused points, vouchers, etc. when your profile is deleted.

4. Transfer to countries outside the EU/EEA

However, in certain countries the European Commission has determined that the level of data protection is on a par with the level of protection in the EU/EEA. If we transfer your personal data to countries where this is not the case, the transfer will take place in accordance with the rules of Chapter 5 of the GDPR. If you have questions about our transfer of data to third countries, you can contact us at hello@golfnext.com.

Your personal data may be processed by others than us. This may be, for example, by our partners (golf clubs, golf courses, driving ranges, etc.) from whom you purchase digital products through the GolfNext App, or by our IT service providers in connection with the ongoing operation and support of our IT systems, including for the purposes of sending newsletters, analytics tasks, payment solutions, etc.
We disclose information about you when necessary as part of the operation of our business. When you purchase or use the digital products that you have purchased from our partners in the GolfNext App, we disclose information about your name, email address, member number and home club, as well as information about your use of points, vouchers or gift cards, to the partner who is to deliver the services to you. The disclosure is made on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, as the disclosure is necessary for you to enter into an agreement with the relevant partner regarding the purchase or use of the digital products from them. We also disclose to the relevant partner statistics and analyses of consumption patterns regarding their customers' purchases and use of digital products in the GolfNext App for the purpose of business development. Processing for these purposes takes place on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation and our partners' legitimate interest in being able to further develop their business based on their sale of digital products through the GolfNext App. For further information about their processing of your personal data, we refer to their privacy policies and terms.
